Leaning from the light

For this assignment I photographed Lyndsey Hearn. We started off having the idea of potentially going in from of the plant wall in the Biosciences building. I realized after a few pictures that there was enough natural light coming in so we moved closer to the windows.

I used my personal Mark ll R6 DSLR camera because I am most familiar with it and feel I can get better pictures on it than I would get on my phone. I positioned Lyndsey to the point that she was angled on the wall in front of the window and used a low shutter speed to allow more light into my lens.

This assignment was not too hard, if it was a bright sunny day it would have been a lot harder, but the overcast sky made the lighting softer and less aggressive. We did try to get patio access to get higher off of the ground and truly get more light access and neutral background but the patio door was unfortunately locked.
